FOUNDER OF CONWAY CHILDREN’S CASTLE
Young children’s brains develop at a high rate, and they are capable of learning a great deal in their early years; however, traditional daycares often choose not to teach children, or will only teach the bare minimum. At Conway Children’s Castle, we are teaching children science, technology, engineering, art and math to make sure that our future generations develop a love for science and technology and can help our community move forward and fill positions in economic sectors that are currently suffering. Also, we will introduce children to more languages so that it is easier for them to compete in a global economy. Conway Children’s Castle will accept vouchers and will serve both the private pay parents as well as those who need subsidies so that their children can attend pre-school. We serve students 0-4 years old, using the Adventures in Learning curriculum while adding elements of Gifted and Talented to cultivate a love of learning and an excitement for science and technology classes. In our community, once we educate the youth who are at a socio-economic disadvantage, it could help wipe out poverty. Moreover, this approach to learning will make the children in our community better prepared to lead the nation in future S.T.E.A.M. related industries.
